Something Different

I have noticed that the main thing I have grilled is burgers and that did not change tonight. Renie was looking through an old church cookbook and found a recipe for Italian Hamburgers. Though it called for beef the burgers looked more similar to a veggie burger on the grill. The meat was stuffed with bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, and chopped onions and made the cooked burgers a light brown color. Even junior, who requested a peanut butter and jelly before the burgers were on the grill ate almost half of his burger. In addition to the above ingredients, it called for basil, parsley, and oregano. The burgers were so flavorful I would not be surprised if we made these as meatballs or meatloaf.
